Ilkeston Radio Link PDF Print E-mail

The new digital Radio Link scheme was launched late 2009 in Ilkeston, and has created a secure town centre forIlkeston Radio Link Poster workers, and for its visitors.

The scheme has proved very successful in linking retailers with CCTV operators, the Police, town centre wardens, and also the town's market.

The link is estabilished for the purpose of improving the quality of communication between members to assist in the safety of persons and the security of property in Ilkeston, mainly focusing on crime preventions as well as detection.

On joining the scheme members will be asked to sign an agreement and will then be given full training on how to use the radios as well as a full list of rules.

There are currently 25 businesses within the town that are part of the scheme, and more businesses are welcome.

To support members, the Erewash Partnership holds regular meetings with members to discuss operation of the scheme, and to share information.

If you would like information on how to join the scheme, please do not hesitate to contact us, or visit www.radiolink.biz!
