Need a grant for your community work?
Community and voluntary groups in Erewash have another chance to apply for grants of up to £2,000 to help them with their work in the borough.
Erewash Borough Council has opened a final funding round of its Small Grants Scheme for 2016/17 and is urging local groups to get in touch and apply for financial support ahead of the closing deadline on Friday 17 February.
The council has helped many groups over the last few years through the grants scheme and is still keen to hear from more groups – however large or small - that could use a grant for specific projects that help people living in Erewash
Funding rounds earlier in the 2016/17 financial year have already helped 30 community and voluntary groups who won a share of just over £36,700 in total.
Councillor Carol Hart, Erewash Borough Council’s Deputy Leader and Lead Member for Community Engagement, says:
“We want to get the message out to groups in all corners of our borough that these grants are on offer to help them. It doesn’t matter how small the group is, we want to hear from you if you are working to help others in our borough. We know there is so much good work of all kinds happening every day. Will a grant of up to £2,000 help you? Then get in touch now!”
The deadline for community grant applications is close of play on Friday 17 February 2017.
